Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) is committed to ensure the continuity of its business in the face of disruptive events and has therefore established a Business Continuity Management System (BCM) compliant with the requirements of National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority – Business Continuity (BC) Standard, AE/SCNS/NCMEA 7000:2021 (NCEMA 7000), and the International Standard, Security and Resilience – Business Continuity Management Systems – Requirements ISO 22301:2019.
Business Continuity Management (BCM) refers to building the organization’s capability to continue performing essential functions and services (at a minimum) during and after an emergency, crisis or disaster that could have resulted in business disruption. It enables the business to continue to deliver key services during any business interruption and ensure effective continuity of its operations.
The purpose of implementing the Business Continuity Management Program at ADECA is to integrate Business Continuity into the overall management system, by providing a framework for the ECA to establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and ultimately improve its BCM capabilities.
This policy applies to all the employees of ADECA, contractors, stakeholders, and third parties, including those upon whom the Organization is critically dependent for the provision of services.

The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) is a government entity, based in Abu Dhabi, that supports holistic early childhood development. We do this by developing policies and laws, informing decision-making through research and transforming behavior.
